Prescription for Contentment

I'm reading a book called "Calm My Anxious Heart" by Linda Dillow. In it she writes about a recipe for contentment that one of her friends found in their mother's journal. Thought I would share it because it is how I need to be more like:

Recipe for Contentment:
1. Never allow yourself to complain about anything - even the weather.
2. Never picture yourself in any other circumstance or some place else.
3. Never compare your lot with another's.
4. Never allow yourself to wish this or that had been otherwise.
5. Never dwell on tomorrow - remember that tomorrow is God's not ours.

It's impossible to always do these things 100% of the time, we are human after all. But, practice makes perfect and these are good guidelines.
