Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. ~Mahatma Gandhi

Sometimes innocent people get hurt as a consequence from our actions.  We try to pretend things are the same to prevent the parties involved from facing the truth or trying to protect others from the hurt that will occur. We have to speak the truth, face the consequences, and then and only then can life truly move on and happiness be found again...till then you are stuck in a spiral of lies and hurt more people than you intend to.

Telling the truth is not always easy, especially when it will hurt innocent people. But, you have to fix the wrongs before anything can ever be right. In the end, you will find that everyone that is involved will be better than they were before....because who and what can be healthy and whole when stuck in a pit of lies? You can not be two things at once. You split yourself apart and tear up the two sides you are holding onto in the process.

Letting go is never ever easy. Change is never ever easy. But, we have to focus on what God is telling us, look at what direction he is pointing us, seek his guidance to know which side is the right side, and ask his help to fix our wrongs. He will be there to help heal the wounds, not just for you...but, also, for the innocent bystanders. AND THEN....actually do what we know needs to be done and stop the cycle of lies and hurt....because it will continue to spiral out of control and the consequences will be far worse than they were ever supposed to be at the beginning.  When you know to do something, do it.  Tell the truth and make a clean break...instead of slowly ripping it.....it will never heal correctly that way and the relationships will never be whole.
