Passion

Everyone that is successful in life....is successful from doing what they are passionate about.  Jamie Oliver = Food, Oprah Winfrey = Teaching and Informing, Dr. Oz = Health, Donald Trump = Money, Jose Rivas = Art (Featured to the Left)....and on and on.  I am crazy about quotes.  I can read quotes all day long. I read a quote recently from Nicholas Sparks that read: "Passion is passion. It's the excitement between the tedious spaces, and it doesn't matter where it's directed...It can be coins or sports or politics or horses or music or faith...the saddest people I've ever met in life are the ones who don't care deeply about anything at all."

The more I got to thinking about this lately, the more I realized that I have many likes and many interests.... but what is my passion? How do you discover what you are passionate about? You hear the saying that where your time and money goes...that is where your heart lays. A few days ago I posted the music video from Lady Antebellum titled "I Was Here" that added to this ongoing thought process of being successful in life, what's my passion, how can I show that I existed, what is my mark on the world, how has God created me and how am I to use that???

I don't know the answers to any of this...however, I am on a journey of discovering the answers.  I want to live life with purpose, with passion, with divine direction and full of love.

Thanks Geetali... definitely feel like I have lost my passion and trying to remember and find what it is. :)

I feel it's an on going process. Though, not sure if it changes over time or just gets more an more specific.

Good point. However, I think our passion is deeply connected to our purpose of being created and so I tend lean more towards getting more and more specific and relevant. But, my opinion on this topic changes day to day.
