I have been home from work for three weeks or so now...since 8/19. I am now addicted to Home Shopping Network. I even have a shopping card with them now...so I just have to make monthly payments and such. They have amazing stuff that I just can't resist at GREAT prices. I NEED TO GET BACK TO WORK!!
I got to chat with Dave today. He's going to be in India for awhile...sadness. I really, really like him a lot. However, I know that he has to do what is best for him and walk his own path. If I had my way, I'd move him to Atlanta and just let him live off of me....lol. Yeah right, huh...I can barely pay for myself. Oh well, I'm glad he's keeping in touch. One day I'll see him again. I wish him all the best and I hope God blesses him with all the desires of his heart.
Zach is getting closer to buying his house. I have to go and pick up a certified gift check for him tomorrow for his closing at the end of the month. He is extremely stressed out. It seems that everything in his life has hit at one time. He's trying to go through this closing on his house and prepare for his paramedic certification tests next week. He is really discouraged about it. He feels like he hasn't had enough time to stuff for the test. He has spent a lot of his spare time studying...I've never seen him actually sit with a book and work like I have lately. He is really worried about the clinical parts, I think that's right. I know he'll do great. He really knows his stuff. He'll just start spouting off facts and procedures, etc. I understand what he's talking about with all my medical background...but he really knows this stuff. I am so very proud of him. He has come such a long way since rehab. He is a totally different person. I couldn't be more happy for him and what he has made of his life. Now...if he'd just propose to Amy and move out. LOL.
YAY!!!!!!!!!! My parents booked this cabin for the third week in October in Helen, Georgia. I am so very excited about that weekend. I am off from work that Friday through Tuesday for Fall Break. I can't wait to get up there and spend time in the woods. I plan on hiking and go on a wild photoshoot. We are close to Helen's little Switerland town thing...which will be celebrating Octoberfest. So, I'm sure there will be great live music and eats going on. I, also, want to go and see the Cabbage Patch Doll hospital in Cleveland, Georgia. I can't wait. We are close to Dahlonega, Georgia Mountain Fall Festival is going on, Apple Festival, and so much more. I CAN'T WAIT!
