You must be Mother Teresa....

I was told today that I must be Mother Teresa. I was talking with Kamran, the guy that I am dating, about driving to Ft. Lauderdale to deliver Carlos' stuff. He asked if I was Mother Teresa. It made me think about how sad it is that people now days don't have the mentality to go out of their way to help their friends. Back in the day people would do anything for their friends....help build houses, barn raising, bring in the harvest, give the shirt off their backs....but now....it's everyone for themselves. I would do anything for my true friends. Chris is a true friend. He is one of those friends that will do anything for you. Therefore, I will do anything for him. That's what friends are for...to step in and give you a shoulder to lean on, and when you can't help yourself....they help. When you don't have the strength or the means to do something, your friends step in. That is what friends and family are for. It's been a long time since I have been on a road trip....wish this was a road trip for pleasure, though. I do enjoy being on the road...so it's no biggie. Especially since I have my mom's wireless card...so now I can really have fun while I am driving. YAY!

I have had a busy week. I have already told you about my exciting Tuesday night. On Wednesday, I took pictures for Drew at the swim team's finals. They did an amazing job. Here are a few of my favorite pictures that I took of the night.

Let me tell you about Adi...he has been shady at times....but now he is a full blown jerk. I know, I know, I know.... you are saying "I thought you said Adios Adi". Yes, I had. But, then he called and explained some issues and of course me being the "MOTHER TERESA" that I am, lol, gave him another chance to come back around. We went on a few more dates together...while he knew that I was still going to date Kamran, as well. Adi understood that I was not going to be exclusive with him till I felt like that he was actually serious about our relationship and we actually got to spend time together instead of seeing each other on the fly whenever he has the whim. So, that has all be going well....till one night last week he asked me if I have kissed Kamran. I told him the truth that say I had. He got very upset. We got in a huge discussion about how Adi wanted us to be exclusive, he didn't want me to be kissing anyone else, he promised to be able to see me at least three times a week, etc. He started making all these promises and pleaded for me to stop seeing Kamran. I explained to Adi, that yes...I really did like him. But, that he has not been very stable...one moment I see and hear from him alot...then a week will go by without any contact. That until he showed me that I was actually a priority I wasn't going to stop dating a nice guy like Kamran just for him to be wishy washy on me all over again. He got very upset and said that Kamran was a muslim and that he did not want to speak to me anymore if I could kiss a muslim man. Kamran was born into a muslim family. That, of course, flew me into a rage....I hate when people are prejudice like that. This was all happening around 2 in the morning and Adi finally said that he is very tired and that he wanted to finish this conversation face to face and that we should get together the next day. The next day came around and I texted Adi asking if he still wanted to get together...there was no response. So I figured...alright that's the end of that. Then Thursday night while I am at a school function playing on my phone....Adi pops up on my Instant Messenger. Here is our conversation:

riseup429: you have to earn that. Really? You were pissed off at me.

riseup429: What happened last saturday? I tried to meet with you but you never responded to my texts

riseup429: Adi, you can't keep going what's ur plans...find out I'm free then be like well if I can we'll get together...why ask? That's what I was talking about last week.

riseup429: It's funny because when we first started talking you were so concerned about the color of your skin and was worried that was going to be a problem...how is that any different.
