Smith & Wesson - .32 Hand Ejector, 1st Model - Model 1896
Today started to check into some gun safety classes and what I need to do to get a gun permit. It was interesting to me that I only need a gun permit to actually carry the gun on person...like in my purse. But to have it in my car...I don't. Shouldn't anyone with a gun that has it off of their property be registered? Or, is this going against the whole right to bear arms? I don't even have to register my gun when I get a gun permit...or at least it didn't say anything about bringing in a serial number or anything. I haven't been able to find really good explanations of the rules...I don't want to carry my gun with me...but when I go to the range and have it with me...what am I supposed to do? I found a range in Forest Park that gives classes and they even have a ladies night. Sounds like fun to me...anyone interested in going with me?
