Can I just go to sleep please?

I am so SO completely exhausted nowadays. There have been many suggestions given to me....which ones do I heed and which ones do I ignore. Here were some of the suggestions:

  1. Go to bed earlier. (Wish I could, but my life schedule doesn't really permit me to go to bed too much earlier.)

  2. Take vitamins. (Really? Vitamins will give me more energy? What kind do I take...have you seen the vitamin section lately?)

  3. Exercise. (This I do plan on doing. I'm going to join Gold's Gym once again...but I have to wait till I get paid.)

  4. Get up earlier. (ummmm.....I'm sleepy....how does taking off hours of sleep help?)

  5. Eat more carbs. (I eat enough already....that's why I have hips.)

  6. Go to the doctor. (Okay....but is he gonna put me to sleep?)

  7. Drink coffee in the morning. (I have to get up in the morning so I can actually have the time to fix the cup of coffee before run out the door.)

  8. Get your crazy pills adjusted. (need to see doctor...guess I should make an appointment, especially since I don't have any refills left.)

These are just some of the suggestions that I've gotten from people who have noticed that I am sluggish and yawning all the time. Which should I do? Are there better suggestions?

At school today we are doing the mock CRCT. Basically I am sitting in class playing on the computer all day while my kids take a standardized test that just takes a whole other day of instruction away from them. STUPID!! Kids in Clayton County are tested way too much. We have my tests that I give them over the units, benchmark tests given by the county every two months or so, mock writing tests, mock CRCT tests....and it goes on and on. I am so far behind in our curriculum because of things like that which takes a full day of instruction away...which we are on a block schedule, and that means it really takes two whole days of instruction away from them. Ummmm....and I wonder why our kids don't perform like they want them to in science.
