Finally, I'm Finished!!!

Hey!!

I finally had time to sit down and work out all the kinks on my page. I changed the format about 50 times. But, I think I have something that I am finally happy with. It won't stay this way long, I'm sure. Anyways.... I just got back from the beach Saturday night. I went to Alabama for Mark's wedding. I had a good time and got to hang out with Ryan and Caitlyn...which I don't get to see all that much...and I really enjoyed that. My parents came down a night earlier and stayed with us at the Beach Club. I cooked dinner for everyone. I know that surprises some of you to hear that I cooked...but I actually am good at it, you just won't see me doing it often. Maybe when I get married and have a fam I will turn into Betty Crocker...but not now. Friday we went to Mark's wedding. I can't believe that I had my camera the whole time and did not take one picture. Usually, I am clicking away. I was all dressed up in a new dress and everything. So...I can't show ya'll any pictures of the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. The bride was gorgeous...can't say much for the groom (Just Kidding Mark!!). It was one of the most enjoyable receptions. I had fun seeing people I haven't seen in years and hanging out with the Atlanta crew. On Saturday my family decided that since we were so "close" to Biloxi, Mississippi that we should travel over there. So, we drove an hour in the opposite direction of Atlanta to the casinos. We had totally forgotten about hurricane Katrina and all the damage that it had done in Mississippi. You heard so much about New Orleans that you forget about the other places hit...which is sad, but true. So, when we got to Biloxi we were shocked at all of the damages. Entire concrete buildings that were once casinos were in a pile of rubble on the ground. There were huge chunks out of parking decks missing. It amazed me. There were only two or three casinos that were open. We ended up going to the Isle of Capri. We ate lunch at the restaurant there and then we went and played the nickel machines. I am one lucky chick. I put in 20 and came out with 330. Dad put in 25 and came out with 270. Mom and Zach take after mammaw and lost it all....mom 20 and Zach 60. I was so excited. I was making a real scene at my machine. I was dancing and clapping each time I hit something big. I lost a lot also...but you have to lose some to win some. It was funny cause this old lady was scoping out my machine...wanting me to leave so she could jump in. She would walk by and give me a look. Then she would sit down to the machine next to mine and watch me out of the corner of her eye. I loved it. I was very proud of myself because I was very smart about how I played and didn't keep playing...when I won big I would get a cash out ticket and keep that money and put cash in. Therefore, I kept piling up my winnings and not spending it. I told pawpaw that when he goes on his trips to Tunica...he should leave mammaw at home and take me. We ended up getting back to the house in Atlanta a little after midnight. We had relatives from out of town staying at our house...so I had to sleep on the pull out in mom's room, not very comfortable. Since Mark was on his honeymoon...he wasn't at church on Sunday to lead worship. Therefore, Larry lead worship. It went a lot better than I expected it too. The congregation clapped after the patriotic songs. I am patriotic...but, I don't like the old patriotic songs. Maybe if they were redone... but they just sound so old and need some sprucing up. When the congregation clapped I was thinking in my head..."please, stop encouraging this"....But, anyways....at least fourth of July only comes around once a year. The fam and relatives all went to Stone Mountain today. Mom and Dad are on the road and Zach is at work.....so, I've been sitting at the house all day by myself. I think I am going to go see a movie....
