In His silence-
I can hear and feel His Spirit in me
In His silence-

I can perceive His Instructions For me.
In His silence-
I can feel His Bosom embracing me.
In His silence-
I can feel His Nail-Scarred hands directing me.
In His silence-
I can feel He is touched with my infirmity.
In his silence-
I know He will never leave or forsake me.
In His silence-
I have life eternity.

Silence is something that I value in this crazy busy and loud world. Today in the car...I realized how precious silence is to me. Silence is when I can hear the whispers of God. Silence is when my soul can rest in His prescence. Silence is when the real me comes out from hiding. Silence is the sweet embrace of reality. It is when I can come to terms with the thoughts racing in my head. As the old adage says...silence is golden.

A friend's house from church caught on fire last Saturday. She has four kids. One of the girls left a tea light burning...it burned all of the bedrooms upstairs. I came up with the idea of doing a yard sale and give the proceeds to the family. So, the choir is going to organize the yardsale for May 20th. The kids are having a hard time. Zoe, the girl with the tea light...is extra devastated cause she feels it was her fault that the family lost everything. She is taking it pretty badly. Pray for the family.
