Looking Toward the Future
Yes, I am still alive. Barely, but I do have a pulse...so that's good. I am finally done with my practicum. I spent my last day at the middle school yesterday. I learned a lot working with them...however, I was in overload there for a while with classes and practicum. Many nights I would stay up until the wee hours doing homework. One unit I did ended up being 85 pages long!!!!! My friends all think that I have abandoned them...which is partially true. Most of them have understood, though. So...nothing is new with me. I am just finally able to relax and smell the coffee again. JOY!! I am looking for a part time job now. I only have to take one class in the summer and two classes in the fall...so I am looking for something to fill some of my time and make a little cash. My parents will greatly appreciate the last part of that sentence. Then, in the spring I will do my Student Teaching...which means I will be the teacher without getting paid for it. AND THEN....drumroll please....I CAN FINALLY GRADUATE.....(and the crowd goes wild...or at least the parents.) So, this is the plan. One new developement that I am looking into is going to language school for a year after I graduate. I really want to learn spanish and think that this will be something that will help me with my career and help me do more missions work, etc. I am excited about this prospect. I am praying and really looking for God to start opening doors for me to step through to the next phase in my life. Okay, so I need to go and get ready. Talk at you soon...I promise.
