Hey guys,
It has been a long week and weekend. It has been hectic trying to adjust to the new additions in the household. I have been having to spend a lot of time (which I don't have to spare) with Cynthia. She needs so much attention and my grandparents nor my aunt will give it to her. I took Cynthia last week to the library (her first trip to a public library) and we checked out books for her to read to me. She is way behind in her education and needs help to bring her up to the 4th grade level. Sooooo.... guess who has been recruited to help her. I don't mind doing it...its just that I myself have a lot of school work to do, as well. So..she has to read to me everyday and then we have a chapter book that I am reading to her as modeling. I also, yesterday, bought a couple of workbooks that are comprehensive curriculum books for 2-4 grade. She is supposed to go to the 4th grade next year but I looked at her test scores and she is barely in the third grade level. Therefore, I have my work cut out for me. She started summer school today, also. Hope that helps.
We went and spent time with Zach this weekend. He is doing very well. There was a lot of stress, however, among the Terrell ranks this weekend because we had some business to take care of with Zach and it was hard to find places on the weekend to help us. He was only allowed a couple of hours off campus...so...needless to say we were at each other's throats trying to get to place to place in the northside traffic. We did get to eat at the Spondivits in Cummings. It is much nicer than the one at the airport.
We also found out that Zach will be able to be apart of the graduation ceremony in July. He still won't be done with the program until august, but, they have these ceremonies only every few months so they are going to include him and Clay (who started on the same day as Zach) in the ceremony. Instead of doing it at Free Chapel like they usually do...they are going to have a picnic at Lake Lanier and play volleyball, etc. This will make it a little bit more personal for the guys... better than doing it at a church with over a thousand strangers sitting in the congregation. So that weekend will be very busy for me...on the 16th Dori and I are going to go to the AI concert and then Zach will graduate on the 17th and then the 18th Dori and I will be on our way to Orlando with Josh for a week. (Which means I need to start saving some money. oh no....)
I hope that everyone has been doing well since I last stopped by on your pages. I am about to make some quick stops by everyone's xanga spot before starting on my never ending homework. Love all of you and hope God is doing awesome things in your lives this week.
