Good Morning....I Guess?

Hey,

I am still suffering from hangovers from a horrific migraine last night, so this is going to be short. My weekend was pretty hectic.... Friday... I met with my book club, it was only me and Dee.... the others couldn't be there. But we sat at the Atlanta Bread Company for three hours. We had a good time talking about the book and life in general. It was good... I am excited to go to our next get together which is in two weeks and this time everyone will be there....there are five of us. We are reading a summer of William Faulkner novels along with Oprah....yes I am personal friends with Oprah and see is in my book club. Just Kidding. We are following Oprah's book club that she has started....the books for the summer are As I Lay Dying, The Sound and the Fury, and A Light in August. So far the first one is pretty good.

Saturday, was the CH2ROME pool party. I got up at seven to clean the pool and the house. I did all that work and it was just Mark and myself until around 6 and then Jennifer and James showed up. We did have a good time...but it would of been nice if we had better participation. However, we grilled out some steaks which were delicious and I made some baked potatoes.....so at least we got a good meal out of it. :~)

Sunday, was Father's Day.... Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there. I spent the day with Zach. So this year I was his momma and daddy on those special holidays. My poor parents have always been stuck on the road. I had a lot of fun. I have never played Frisbee before, and when I got there Zach and Clay wanted to play. Clay is really good at it. He could throw it straight to me without me having to move every time. I on the other hand could not. I need someone to show me the proper technique....Clay tried...but I still didn't get it. I even started to throw at Zach instead of Clay cause I told him I felt bad that he had to keep chasing after my frisbees but I didn't care if Zach did....he needs the workout. (He has gained another five pounds on top of the 30 he has already gained....I told him he needs to watch out before he ends up looking like the rest of us Terrells) Zach wasn't too much better than I was...I kept joking with Clay about getting stuck with the Terrell's and how you can tell that Zach and I were related from the way we were throwing the frisbee...Clay's a good guy so he was a prefect gentleman...instead of getting mad about chasing our frisbees he just made fun of us.The meeting was really good last night as well....Larry (leader at NLB) talked about how fathers give stability and about our relationships with our fathers. Some people had some major breakthroughs...Hallelujah.... When I left Zach's my parents called and were at the McDonough Walmart passing through town....they had some time to kill because they were ahead of schedule so they decided to stop and wait on me and go catch something to eat. So I did get to see my father a little bit on Father's Day. However, I had that horrible migraine... I ended up getting sick in the Waffle House bathroom...but at least it made my head feel better. But, I wasn't much company for my parents. So, they went back on the road when we got done eating and I went home and passed out.

Keep Zachary in your prayers....he had to write about what his long term goals are and God has been telling him to continue with the year leadership course that NLB offers and then also to do the college work of a christian counselor that they offer, as well. God has already told him these things and wouldn't ever show him any further. So Zach pleaded with God to show him somthing beyond the NLB campus....and God was telling him that he couldn't show him exactly what he would be doing because it is not time to know...however he told Zach that he needs to stick on getting his counseling certificate and that he will need it because Zach is to go back to his home church (Glad Tidings) and work with the church and youth. So, that is what Zach is working towards. However, just to show how Satan works...after a couple of days of hearing God say all that to him...Zach has started to really doubt himself and his capabilities of doing all that....so please keep him in your prayers and lift him up. Zach realizes that it's just Satan trying to steal what God has in store for him but he needs prayer to help him have the strength and also the protection (NLB is a huge spiritual battle ground and Zach is open to a lot of demonic spirits coming through there) that he needs.

Please keep my friend Dori in your prayers today...she is having a difficult time at her job...can't go into details, but please lift her up in prayer and ask God to give her the strength to endure what she is going through.
